We have had a wonderful day in glorious sunshine! Finished off with campfire and survival techniques!
After making our lunch (which Miss Smith and Tydfil house won) more of us had a go at the zip wire!
We’ve just narrowly avoided a thunder storm on our way back from the beautiful Mont St Michel. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the serene monastery. On our way back for a late dinner and game of boules.
We will be out for the whole day today… We started in a large Carrefour supermarche to allow pupils to spend some money and experience the differences between French and UK shopping!
After this we went to visit fourgeres castle, Mr Szwagrzak then entertained pupils with an hour tour and explained all about the castle’s medieval history!
We have had the most fun afternoon in a local goats farm, we spent a very long time to convince Mr Szwagrzak to bring some home with us!
lots of children conquered their fears, were challenged in their teams for a range of activities, which we will get to do more of later in the week.
More photos from the ferry
It was an early start this morning but we got to the ferry on time. We watched ‘jungle book’ in our private cinema lounge on the ferry and enjoyed a windy walk around the ferry!
Currently we’re ten minutes from the chateau, so should have arrived by the time you read this on the website!
